SCHOOL CLOSURE UPDATE - COVID-19
As a result of Governor Tate Reeves' announcement DCS will be closed through at least Friday, April 17, 2020. An announcement will be made on or before April 17th regarding the status of weeks to come
Please see the attachment below with the tentative online distant learning plan. We will be using Khan Academy in addition to my website assignments. It seems to be a great online resource where students can work at their own pace and use multiple different devices. I hope this will help students keep moving forward and learning in AP Biology
Students will go to khanacademy.org and sign up using an email address.
The class code is Y52V8VHA
Check Weekly four Updated Assignments.
Sincerely- Mrs. Wyatt

For the remainder of the semester, we will focus on preparing for the AP Exam. These videos are directly from the AP College Board and will be excellent resources for preparing for the AP exam. Even if you are not planning to take the exam, please continue to engage in the material posted. I will be randomly assigning quizzes that go along with the review material on Classmarker. There is access to print all the PowerPoints which have the practice questions embedded for you to practice along with the instructor. The FRQ's are excellent to work through. This is a sure way to ensure success on the upcoming AP Exam. Please do not give up! Now is not the time to throw in the towel! Create a schedule for yourself and dedicate some time to sit down for at least 45min to an hour. You are all excellent students and I know you all can can overcome this time in our lives. I assure you, institutions will see this as a testament of excellence when considering you for their programs.
You can find the link to all of the powerpoints and notes to go with each of the review sessions below here --> AP Biology Webinar PowerPoints and Notes
